  • Right Place, Right Time: TLR Airmen Provide First Aid Response

    When someone speaks about a hero, the first thing that comes to mind is usually a superhuman figure flying through the air. Although that is a typical view of a hero to many, one man’s heroes were two ordinary Airmen who were in the right place at the right time. U.S. Air Force Capt. Benjamin Pritchard, 19th Operation Support Squadron officer in charge of intelligence analysis, and U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Victoria Simon, 19th OSS intelligence analyst were on a temporary duty assignment to Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington, taking part in Exercise Mobility Guardian 2019 when they witnessed the accident.

  • 92nd MDG completes squadron re-designation

    Team Fairchild’s 92nd Medical Group completed the second phase of its squadron reorganization Oct. 1, 2019, in accordance with the Secretary of the Air Force’s new policy designating squadrons to care for service members and beneficiaries separately. The policy mandates that the 92nd Operational Medical Readiness Squadron take care of active duty service members, while the 92nd Health Care Operations Squadron provides care for family members and retirees.

    The 19th Medical Group at Little Rock Air Force Base recently underwent a two and a half day inspection from the Joint Commission. The Joint Commission is an independent, not-for-profit organization that evaluates over 20,000 health care organizations and programs across the United States.
