Two become one

Lt. Col. David Bresser, 557th Communications Squadron, commander, hands off the guidon for the 2d Systems Operations Squadron to Col. Andrew Frey, 2d Weather Group commander, on Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska, November 14, 2025, at a ceremony held in the weather wing auditorium. The symbolic gesture signaled the inactivation of the 2d SYOS and Bresser relinquishing command of the unit.
