Saluting Service During Police Week
U.S. Air Force Airmen salute the flag during a closing ceremony at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, May 16, 2025. Police Week is an annual observance honoring the contributions of military and law enforcement officers. At JBLE, installation members hosted events from May 12-16, 2025, including a K-9 demonstration showcasing the role of military working dogs in security and law enforcement and a candlelight vigil providing a solemn moment for those honoring fallen officers. The week-long observance concluded with a ceremony recognizing the service and dedication of law enforcement personnel.
