305th AMW teams take top honors at 2025 Mobility Vanguard
U.S. Air Force Airmen of the 305th Air Mobility Wing (AMW), headquartered at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., pose with their awards for taking top honors at the 521st Air Mobility Operations Wing’s Mobility Vanguard 2025 at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, April 25, 2025. Two teams from the 305th AMW— one from the 305th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (AMXS) and the other from the 305th Aerial Port Squadron (APS) — competed in the strategic evaluation that included several grueling challenges for 22 military aerial port and maintenance teams from across the U.S. Air Force, Germany, and the Netherlands, with a focus on daily mobility aircraft generation. The 305th AMXS team emerged as the top overall performers, securing first place in both the overall and maintenance categories. The 305th APS team finished second place in both the overall and port categories. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Joshua T. Crossman)
