Fairchild AFB demonstrates strategic deterrence during exercise Mobility Response 25

A U.S. Air National Guardsman assigned to the 116th Air Refueling Squadron removes a jet engine cover from a KC-135 Stratotanker during exercise Mobility Response 25 in support of U.S. Strategic Command exercise Global Thunder 25 at Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington, Oct. 22, 2024. Airmen participated in this exercise to test their ability to rapidly respond to provide global mobility. The KC-135 Stratotanker played a crucial role in this exercise and GT25, providing essential air-to-air refueling capabilities vital to sustaining long-range operations.
