Three 436th SFS Ravens awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross
U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Jason Bell, right, 436th Security Forces Squadron Phoenix Raven, is presented the Distinguished Flying Cross with “C” device, by Col. Justin Longmire, 436th Airlift Wing deputy commander, at the base theater on Dover Air Force Base, Delaware, Aug. 5, 2024. Under hostile conditions, Bell distinguished himself for actions he took by securing the area, the loading of U.S. personnel and their highly sensitive equipment after landing at Hamid Karzai International Airport, Kabul, Afghanistan, Aug. 30, 2021.
