Dyess celebrates Military Spouse Appreciation Day 2024
U.S. Air Force Col. Thomas Lankford, 317th Airlift Wing commander, offers flowers to a family during the Military Spouse Appreciation Day event at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, May 10, 2024. Volunteers showed their support for military spouses by arranging gift bags, cooking food, and handing out flowers and drinks. Often, the U.S. president will commemorate Military Spouse Appreciation Day with a ceremonial speech and proclamation to honor the significant contributions from the spouses of service members.
