317th AW executes Hazard Spear, supports Balikatan 24 with accelerated mission sets
                U.S. Air Force Capt. Eric Albers and Capt. Blayne Hayes, both 40th Airlift Squadron, begin landing a C-130J Hercules during Exercise Balikatan 24 near Lal-Lo Airfield, Philippines, 28 April, 2024. During the exercise, three C-130Js were dispatched to different locations from Andersen Air Force Base, Guam to support Exercise Balikatan 24 in the Philippines, marking the wing’s first participation in the event in years. BK 24 is an annual exercise between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the U.S. military designed to strengthen bilateral interoperability, capabilities, trust, and cooperation built over decades of shared experiences.
