317th AW executes Hazard Spear, supports Balikatan 24 with accelerated mission sets
A U.S. Air Force C-130J Hercules assigned to the 40th Airlift Squadron waits on the flight line to takeoff during Exercise Balikatan 24 at Basco Airfield, Philippines, 28 April 2024. During the exercise, three C-130Js were dispatched to different locations from Andersen Air Force Base, Guam to support Exercise Balikatan 24 in the Philippines, marking the wing’s first participation in the event in years. BK 24 is an annual exercise between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the U.S. military designed to strengthen bilateral interoperability, capabilities, trust, and cooperation built over decades of shared experiences.
