Dyess celebrates Air Force Gala

A Dyess honor guardsman performs a prisoner-of-war and missing in action ceremony during the Abilene Military Affairs Committee and Dyess Air Force Gala in Abilene, Texas, Aug. 26, 2023. This year’s gala theme was the celebration of 76 years of Air Force heritage and the 70th anniversary of the Abilene MAC and their commitment to ensuring an active and supportive relationship between Dyess and the Abilene community. The MAC showed its appreciation to Dyess Airmen and their families by providing free food, entertainment and childcare.
