Dyess celebrates Air Force Gala

Retired Gen. Robin Rand, former Air Force Global Strike Command and Air Forces Strategic Air, U.S. Strategic Command, commander, delivers the keynote address at the Abilene Military Affairs Committee and Dyess Air Force Gala in Abilene, Texas, Aug. 26, 2023. The event was held to celebrate the MAC’s 70th anniversary and the Air Force’s 76th birthday. The Abilene MAC hosted the gala to honor Dyess Airmen and the legacy they have created at America’s only Lift and Strike Base.
