6th Airlift Squadron increases lethality to become AFFORGEN ready
An Airman assigned to the 621st Contingency Response Wing drives a Polaris MRZR Diesel tactical off-road vehicle onto a C-17 Globemaster on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., Sept. 29, 2022. The 6th Airlift Squadron partnered with the 621st Contingency Response Wing to simulate rapid combat on and off loading. The exercise was part of the curriculum of the Tactics Advancement Course, where aircrews go through classroom, mission planning cell, and off-station training to build skills, tactics, techniques and course to assist in the transition to Mobility Air Force Force Generation model, which will increase the high-end readiness necessary to deploy as cohesive units and deliver Rapid Global Mobility in support of combatant commanders, the Joint Force, and our allies and partners to meet National Defense Strategy requirements.
