6th AS conducts ACE training to prepare for MAFFORGEN transition on Joint Base MDL

Airmen from the 6th Airlift Squadron and the 87th Logistics Readiness Squadron stand by a fuel truck performing defuel operations from a C-17 as part of the Agile Combat Employment training on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., Aug. 24, 2022. Airmen from the 6th AS, 305th Air Mobility Wing conducted integrated training and utilized Agile Combat Employment concepts to prepare for Mobility Air Forces Force Generation deployments. Exercising ACE elements enables our forces to operate with varying levels of capacity and support, to generate lethal combat power. The MAFFORGEN model will increase high-end readiness necessary to deploy as cohesive units and deliver Rapid Global Mobility in support of combatant commanders, the Joint Force, and our allies and partners to meet National Defense Strategy requirements.
