ROCKI 21-02: 19th AW experiments with lead wing concept
Airmen assigned to the 19th Airlift Wing offload a vehicle from a C-130J Super Hercules at Volk Field Air National Guard Base, Wisconsin, April 30, 2021. The 19th Airlift Wing utilized Volk Field ANG Base to host its ROCKI 21-02 exercise, which focused on testing the rapid insertion of an Air Expeditionary Wing into a bare base environment and included establishing logistics and communications with theater command and control to receive follow-on forces and generate airlift missions.
