Team Dover opens new facility for innovation, collaboration
Col. Mathew Jones, 436th Airlift Wing commander, speaks during the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new Bedrock facility, Sept. 23, 2020, at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware. Established in 2019, Bedrock’s goal is empowering Airmen to develop ideas and leverage new technologies to support the warfighter at home station or downrange. Bedrock’s new facility boasts over 5,000 square feet, housing large collaborative workspaces, an event stage, a virtual reality classroom, a podcast studio and a prototyping lab with 3D-printers.
