Goldfein addresses Airmen

Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. David L. Goldfein speaks during the Airlift/Tanker Association Symposium in Grapevine, Texas, Oct. 26, 2018. "We have a federated enterprise that analyzes intelligence to a level of sophistication that's absolutely exquisite," said Goldfein. But Goldfein says it doesn't stop there, and wants to embrace multi-domain command and control to dominate the information environment faster and smarter. "Our flight plan in the future uses machine-to-machine capabilities, smart-learning algorithms, and tools of the trade to pull together this network of capability that can cross-cue, connect, and compare to databases and learn as we go so that the decision of what's of interest is made at the machine level. And then let's repurpose our Airmen so that we are doing the refined, human part, which is to say, 'Okay now let's turn this information that I know is of interest into decision-quality information that allows us to operate faster than our adversaries.' That's where we're headed." A/TA provides mobility Airmen a professional development forum to engage with industry experts within the mobility enterprise, attend seminars focused on mobility priorities, and listen to leadership perspectives from top leaders in the Air Force and Department of Defense.
