Foreign pilots fly high in exchange program at JB Charleston

German air force Maj. Rico Persy, 14th Airlift Squadron pilot, reviews his pre-flight inspection checklist on-board a C-17 Globemaster III here June 26, 2017. Persy has been stationed at Joint Base Charleston since 2014 as part of the foreign pilot exchange program. Persy’s home station is Wunstorf Air Base, Germany, home of the Air Transport Wing 62.
