SPMAGTF-SC, JTF-Bravo disaster relief in Haiti enabled by logistics, ‘Rapid Global Mobility’

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. U.S. Southern Command requested heavy airlift to transport critical equipment packages needed to sustain helicopter flight operations in Haiti being conducted by Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Southern Command and Joint Task Force-Bravo’s 1st Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment using two CH-53E Super Stallions, three CH-47 Chinooks, and two UH-60L and two HH-60L Black Hawks in support of the U.S. Agency for International Development-led mission to alleviate human suffering and bolster Haitian disaster response capabilities.
