82nd Airborne integrates with USAFWS for JFE 14B
Paratroopers assigned to the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C., glide to their drop zone during the U.S. Air Force Weapons School's Joint Forcible Entry Exercise 14B on the Nevada Test and Training Range Dec. 6, 2014. JFEX, as part of a restructured integration phase in the USAFWS, is a prime example of the training students get to synchronize aircraft movements from geographically separated bases, command large formations of dissimilar aircraft in high-threat airspace, and tactically deliver and recover combat forces via air drops and combat landings on an unimproved landing strip.
