SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. - Lt. Gen. Darren McDew, 18th Air Force commander, gives his first speech as the new commander during a change of command ceremony Aug. 6, 2012 at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. Prior to his current assignment, McDew was the Commander, Air Force District of Washington at Joint Base Andrews, Md. The outgoing commander, Lt. Gen.
