16th AF commander offers guidance at commissioning ceremony

SAN ANTONIO, Texas --  Lt. Gen. Thomas Hensley, 16th Air Force (Air Forces Cyber), commander, shared his experiences and advice to cadets at the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps Detachment 842 Spring 2025 Commissioning Ceremony. 

“Make no mistake, even as a butter bar, all of your subordinates will have their eyes on you," said Hensley. "They will observe how you act, react, behave and respond to your environment. Your actions will help reinforce the right culture in our organizations. Having the right culture is absolutely critical to the defense of our nation.”
