JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. -- Team McChord Airmen and civilians across 62d Aerial Port Squadron, 62d Maintenance Group and the 4th Airlift Squadron loaded an Altec high-reach crane onto a C-17 Globemaster III at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, April 17, 2025. The crane was transported to Arizona to facilitate the replacement of the pitch trim actuator in the tail of another 62d Airlift Wing C-17. This crucial transport ensures Team McChord Airmen and aircraft are returned to a mission-capable status to support today’s global airlift mission.
