JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. --

Airmen from the 62d Maintenance Squadron conduct rigorous testing to maximize the efficiency of components of the C-17 Globemaster III aircraft. By utilizing the squadron's interface test adapters, faulty electrical components are systematically diagnosed to pinpoint specific issues. These adapters, linked to computer systems, provide detailed diagnostic information to Airmen, guiding them in the precise identification and resolution of each component's malfunction. This process ensures optimal aircraft performance, vital for executing today's global airlift missions.
