MacDill broadens global strike

The boom tail flashes of the 6th Air Mobility Wing (AMW) and the Air Force Reserve’s 927th Air Refueling Wing (ARW) are displayed on all KC-135 Stratotankers assigned to MacDill Air Force Base, Fla. The 6th AMW was redesignated as the 6th ARW Sept. 30, 2019. The 6th ARW is in the process of updating its boom tail flashes to reflect the wing’s new designation.
