SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. --
Lt. Gen. Giovanni Tuck, 18th Air Force commander, relieved Col. John Howard of command of the 375th Air Mobility Wing, effective Dec. 11, 2017.
Tuck lost confidence in Howard's leadership and ability to continue serving in command.
"This was an incredibly difficult decision to make, but ultimately one that best serves the 375th AMW and 18th AF," Tuck said.
Col. W. Chris Buschur, 375th AMW vice commander, serves as the interim commander effective immediately.
