U.S. Air Force Lt. Col Brian Milner, 7th Bomb Wing director of staff, poses in front of a B-1B Lancer during Black History Month at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, Feb. 15, 2023. Milner was born and raised on the Southside of Chicago. He started his Air Force journey in 2000, enlisting as an electronic warfare maintainer. He earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Aeronautics from Embry Riddle and commissioned through Officer Training School in 2006.
