JB Charleston deploys TIS in support of Mobility Guardian

Airman 1st Class Mateo Willis, 437th Aerial Port Squadron cargo load team member, guides a transportation isolation system into the back of a C-17 Globemaster III at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. Aug. 3, 2017. The TIS is designed to provide aeromedical evacuation for patients with known or suspected exposure to a contagious or infectious disease while protecting aircraft and aircrew. The TIS was deployed to facilitate aeromedical evacuation aspects of Mobility Guardian, Air Mobility Command’s premier exercise.
