To the Airmen of the United States Air Force:

Since 1776, Americans from every generation have had the honor and privilege to serve and defend our nation. Each of you joined 22 million other American Veterans in answering this sacred calling … vowing to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign or domestic.”  There is no higher honor and we are extremely proud of all you do.

It takes every Airman in every Air Force specialty to accomplish our sacred duty. Whether you are among the over 20,000 Airmen operationally deployed all over the globe, defending the homeland in the air, in space, in cyber or supporting those who do, your dedication reflects a proud legacy and a long blue line of devoted service.

On this Veterans Day, we extend our most sincere appreciation for the sacrifices of you and your family.  We are truly humbled to lead this amazing team of Airmen.
