RAF leaders visit AMC, 18th AF

Lt. Gen. Sam Cox, 18th Air Force commander, speaks with British Royal
Air Force Air Vice Marshal Gavin Parker, 2 Group commander and Cox's RAF
equivalent, following a tour of a British A-400M airlifter on the Scott Air
Force Base flightline, April 5, 2016. Parker visited Scott to meet with
Mobility Air Force leaders to get a better understanding of how Air
Mobility Command and 18th AF take a task from genesis to delivery, how the
commands maximize utility and availability of its fleets and how they
exercise command and control of assets employed in remote locations. Over
the last ten years, the RAF has seen its Air Mobility fleet transformed as
they have moved from larger legacy fleets to smaller, more modern airlift
systems. (U.S. Air Force photo by Master Sgt. Thomas J. Doscher)
